For this commercial project located on St. Armand’s Circle in Sarasota Florida Redding Construction Group redesigned an existing 1950’s retail storefront into a high-end aquatic environment for an aquatic apparel business.

Working with the existing architectural features of the approximately 1,500 square foot space, Redding cleaned them up, enhanced them where needed, corrected numerous structural issues, removed walls, and added custom lighting.

Currently the business is very successful.

Working in the 70-year-old building presented the primary challenge in creating a modern coastal environment that would allow for the appropriate display of the high-end products. Part of the fun of the project was enhancing some of the existing architectural features to bring out both the history of the building itself and yet provide a modern retail space. We exposed and enhanced some of the existing ceiling details creating a clean, modern appearance. The owner wanted to create a centralized, relaxed social environment to connect the shopping experience to the checkout process.
