Sarasota, FL—Redding Construction Group, a Sarasota-based contractor formerly known as Imagine Design and Remodel, completed renovations on a 4-bed, 3.5-bath, 3,800 SF single-family home located on Bird Key, the company announced today.
“The design challenge on this project was doubling the square footage of an existing ranch-style home without breaking FEMA rules,” recalls Keith Redding, President of Redding Construction Group.
The addition had to be built above the base flood elevation, so the Redding team had to reconfigure the space in a way that didn’t feel like you’re living in a home with two different elevations. They completely redesigned the interior making it more open and modern. The new kitchen features a massive 6-by-14-foot island with a built-in cooktop and floating hood.
Another notable feature, this contemporary modern style home includes a fitness dance room with mirrored wall and ballet barre.
